THE LEGEND OF ZELDA: AGE OF CALAMITY REVIEW

  I finished recently the Main Quest of Age of Calamity and as always I would like to express my opinion on the new Zelda experience that Nintendo offered us. For the ones that live under a rock with a Korok, it’s not a regular Zelda game, but a Hyrule Warriors title, with a lot of hack and slash, battlefields and lots of Champions to choose from. So if you remember my Hyrule Warriors Legends review – if you don’t look it up on my blog – I really love warfare in the Zelda Universe and seeing a Breath of the Wild prequel like that, made me so hyped about owning and playing that game. So after finishing the Main Quest let’s move into the review about the things I liked and the things that I would change. First about the things that I liked about the game: 1. This one is a given. THE LEGEND OF ZELDA: A LINK TO THE PAST REVIEW (+ HOMEBREW CHALLENGE)

  Recently, I’ve replayed The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, but with a homebrew challenge (read it after the Review) and I can say, I really enjoyed finishing the game once again. Note: I played the GBA version, on my DS. Playing while taking notes this time, I want once again to put my thoughts on paper and present to you my view of the game (this is my opinion, it doesn’t mean it is the best one out there).   First I want to start with the things I liked about the game: 1. Let’s be honest, it’s the game that made Zelda what it is today (well at least what it was until Breath of the Wild). It gave us lore about Hyrule, Ganondorf, Zelda, Triforce, the Gods and even about Link. 2. The whole game still has replay value after 30 years of its original release. The graphics are smooth for a 16-bit game, the music is amazing, the whole video game experience is at its top. 3. Great dungeon design.
